INBENTUS, with corporate name Iconic Solutions by Murcia S.L. has carried out the development of the VERSATILE ventilator thanks to the financing of the project called "ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATOR" Acronym: SAV-21, under the RIS3MUR Program of Strategic Projects contemplated in the strategy of research and innovation for smart specialization, with File No. 2I20SAE00075 subsidized in collaboration of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Spokesmanship in the framework of the ERDF Operational Program Region of Murcia 2014-2020. (European Regional Development Fund - A way to make Europe).
The project consisted of the design, manufacture, commissioning and approval of a high-performance invasive ventilator with the latest turbine technology that is capable of treating 90% of the severe respiratory pathologies that usually occur in an intensive care unit.
